Made from custom polyurethane elastomers reinforced with multiple plies of polyester fabric, Fenner Drives’ high performance link belting offers problem solving alternatives to conventional endless wrapped rubber belts of classical, wedge and round cross sections.
We offer PowerTwist in classical (red) and metric wedge (blue) section profiles. We also offer T-Link style belting with NuTLink for classical section drives and SuperTLink for applications using metric wedge rated belts. Our PowerTwist Ground Round belting is an ideal upgrade for systems using traditional round leather, rubber or polyurethane belts.
While simple in concept, Fenner Drives’ link belting delivers outstanding performance, solving many of the field problems traditionally associated with conventional rubber belts.

Longer Belt Life in Harsh Operating Conditions
Our link belting is manufactured from high performance polyurethane/polyester composite materials which ensure excellent durability even in the most demanding conditions. They will outperform conventional rubber belts in handling hostile environments, including exposure to oil, grease, water and most common industrial and agricultural chemicals and solvents. They are also more resistant to abrasion and will operate, with no loss in performance, at a more extreme temperature range — from -40°C to 116°C (-40°F to 240°F).
Reduced Belt Stock…Any Belt, Any Time
There’s no need to maintain inventory of numerous different endless rubber belts to cover all your drives. Carry a box in stock of each common size and you’re almost 100% covered with a significant reduction in working capital tied up in spares.
Easier and Faster Installation
Unique “quick connect” belt designs provide for easier and faster belt installation, even on captured or restricted access drives — no tools required. Belts are easily made up to the required length, by hand, in seconds and can be rolled onto a drive just like a bicycle chain. No need to dismantle drive components or change existing pulleys as all of our belting runs in industry standard pulley grooves.
Minimized Maintenance Time
Like all power transmission belts, Fenner Drives’ link belts may require retensioning after an initial “run in” period. But unlike conventional belts, with PowerTwist, NuTLink and SuperTLink, retensioning is simple; just roll the belt off, take out a link and roll it back on — no need to move any drive components. No time — no trouble.
Simplified Drive Design
The unique “quick connect” design of our Classical and SP rated composite belts allow designers considerable freedom in their choice of optimum drive configuration and placement with resultant savings in component costs and assembly times.
As PowerTwist, NuTLink and SuperTLink are effectively self-tensioning on installation and exhibit low operational stretch; there is no need to incorporate belt tensioners and sliding motor bases into drive designs. Additionally, drives can be optimally mounted on/in equipment where such positioning would be impossible with conventional belts when considering ease of subsequent field maintenance. Plus, Fenner Drives’ link belts can be used on misaligned or angled pulleys up to 17.5 degrees without significant reduction in belt life.
Reduced Drive Vibration & System Noise
PowerTwist, NuTLink and SuperTLink do not have the continuous tension cords found in conventional endless belts. As a result, transmitted vibration in the drive system can be reduced by 50% or more. Consequently, system noise is reduced and, as a bonus, bearing life extended.

When used in power transmission drives, all V-belts and roller chains will elongate significantly over time if not properly maintained. Incorrect belt or chain tension will lead to increased downtime, lower equipment productivity and inflated maintenance costs. To achieve optimum drive performance, correct drive belt or chain tension must be maintained. The solution? A self-adjusting T-Max Tensioner from Fenner Drives! T-Max automatic tensioners eliminate the need for regular manual retensioning of drives. Combined with a PowerMax idler pulley or chain sprocket from Fenner Drives, an automatic T-Max Tensioner can be used to:

T-Max Light Duty Rotary Tensioners allow for easy installation and adjustment with a single bolt feature and come in a variety of sizes and mounting styles. T-Max Light Duty Rotary Tensioners improve performance and extend life for most fixed-center drives. The built-in spring mechanism absorbs momentary overloads and reduces vibration. The RT1000 and RT1600 series are best suited for single groove V-belt drives using 3L, SPZ, A/13 (4L) or B/17 (5L) belts.
T-Max Medium-Duty and Heavy-Duty Rotary Tensioners are our most rugged T-Max Tensioners. The heavy-duty construction pairs well with heavy load applications. The torsion spring is designed to absorb momentary overloads and reduce vibration. The medium-duty RT3000 series is best suited for single or double groove V-belt drives using A/13 (4L), SPA, B/17 (5L), SPB or 3V and 5V narrow wedge belts. RT4100 and RT4900 series tensioners are designed for use on drives with two to four B/17, SPB or 5V narrow wedge belts or one to two C/22 or SPC cross-section belts.
T-Max Linear Tensioners offer fully automatic straight-line take up and extended life through improved performance on most fixed-center drives. The single bolt feature offers easy installation and adjustment while the built-in spring mechanism absorbs momentary overload and reduces vibration. Longer Belt and Chain Life – Trackstar Guides are far slicker than steel or other thermoplastics, resulting in less wear on expensive transfer belts and drive/attachment chains.
Reduced Wear – Trackstar Guides outwear abrasion-resistant steel by 3 to 1 and PTFE by 5 to 1. UHMW has the highest abrasion resistance of any thermoplastic for longer guide life, even in abrasive environments.
Modular Design – Trackstar’s unique two-piece design simplifies initial installation and facilitates future replacement of UHMW inserts, while allowing for thermal expansion.
